2025 Ford Maverick

What to Know Before Buying the 2025 Maverick at TERA Ford

Perhaps driving a burly pickup truck makes you a nervous wreck because its awkward size and limited turning radius make it hard to maneuver around tight spaces and in bumper-to-bumper traffic. Still, you need something to haul and carry lots of stuff; we have just the truck for you.

The 2025 Ford Maverick is just three years removed from its US launch and is the kind of vehicle for people who don’t like a hefty truck but need the versatility and functionality of a pickup. The latest model year gets a facelift, fresh interior colors, bigger infotainment equipment, more safety features, and a new trim level.

From the five-variant lineup of its predecessor, buyers of the 2025 Maverick have six trim levels to choose from: XL, XLT, Lobo™ Standard, Lariat®, Tremor, and Lobo™ High. Ford also offers two engine and transmission options, including several packages and customization options.

Interior Review of the 2025 Ford Maverick

To offer an enticing price point at all trim levels, Ford offers the interior of the 2025 Maverick compact pickup truck in different appointment levels. The five-seater cabin may be compact, but the rear offers 35.9 inches of legroom in the hybrid variant, while those powered by an internal combustion engine have 36.9 inches.

The XL has Black Onyx/Dark Slate cloth upholstery, while the XLT uses Navy Pier/Aspen Gray fabric. The Lobo™ Standard, Lariat®, Tremor, and Lobo™ High come exclusively with ActiveX™ trimmed seats in various shades and stitching, depending on the variant, and bucket-type front seats. All trim levels have full bench rear folding seatbacks.

The 2025 Ford Maverick features a 13.2-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen with swipe capability. This means users can use pinch-and-swipe gestures to navigate the system more easily. Six speakers are standard in the XL, XLT, and Lobo™, while the Lariat® and Lobo™ High use the eight-speaker B&O® Sound System by Bang & Olufsen with HD radio.

Exterior Review of the 2025 Ford Maverick

Despite being only three years old, Ford freshened up the look of the Maverick. The 2025 model year gets a new front fascia, including a redesigned grille that varies per trim level and upgraded lighting equipment for better visibility and enhanced aesthetic appeal.

The XL and XLT have a basic black mesh grille with a black surround. The Lobo™ uses a painted grille accent bar, while the Lariat® and Lobo™ High wear a high-gloss black-painted grille.

All trim levels have a black door and tailgate handles. Protective film on the hood and fenders, splash guards, and a front license plate bracket are optional equipment.

2025 Ford Maverick safety is ensured even while on the road at night with LED headlamps and a center high-mount stop lamp at the rear. LED box lighting is standard in the Lariat® and Lobo™ High.

Total output of 191 horsepower and 155 lb-ft of torque goes to the front- or all-wheel drive via an electronic continuously variable transmission.

Ford makes a more powerful 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine available for the 2025 Maverick. It also has double overhead camshafts, twin independent variable camshaft timing, and gasoline turbocharged direct injection.
